Brockport, N.Y- The Brockport swimming and diving teams will return home on Wednesday, January 31
st at 5 p.m. to take on Nazareth.
Last Weekend: The men's and women's teams both scored big wins on the road in Fredonia, with the women winning 228-57, and the men's team winning 179-63. The men's team improved to 3-3-1, with the women moving to 5-2 in duals, winning their fourth in a row.
Ren Watson was uncontested on the 3-meter board, scoring 226.30 for another Brockport win. Watson posted a 207.20 for first on the 1-meter diving board as well.
Jace Frederickson snagged first place in the 200-free with his time of 1:56.00, and
Matthew Chan won the 200-yard butterfly race with his time of 2:17.27.
Matt Cole's time of 2:15.25 in the 200-yard backstroke was good for the top spot in the race. In the 200-yard breaststroke,
Luca Olivieri finished first by clocking in at 2:23.87. Olivieri came back with a 56.13 to win the 100-yard butterfly as well.
The women's team started the day with a win in the 200-yard medley relay.

Emily LeFrois-Heath, and
Sarah Kilburn clocked in at 1:57.13 in the event.
Addy Martino took first in the 1,000-free with her time of 11:59.26. Martino came back later to place first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a 2:36.28.
Hannah Pauly swam a 2:15.67 to get a win of her own in the 200-yard freestyle
Finishing in 1:08.57,
Brienne Westfall claimed first in the 100-yard backstroke. LeFrois-Heath had a first-place time of 1:14.42 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
Emma Butler snagged first in the 100-yard butterfly race with a time of 1:08.28. LeFrois-Heath swam a 4:53.99 to take first in the 400-yard IM.
Brockport finished the meet strong with a win in the 200-yard freestyle relay. Parobek, Kilburn, Butler, and LeFrois-Heath clocked in at 1:45.14.
Half Dozen: For the sixth time this season,
Kyra Russ was named SUNYAC Diver of the Week following yet another sweep on the diving board for Brockport. Russ took first in both the 1-meter and 3-meter dives against Fredonia, scoring a 236.60 on the 1-meter dive, and a 256.70 in the 3-meter dive.
Heating Up: Following a 0-3-1 start to the season, the men's team has begun to hit their stride. The Golden Eagles are in the midst of a 3 dual winning streak since January 13
th, where they picked up a 187-49 blowout win over Hobart on senior day. The men followed up their senior day performance with wins over MCC (139-89), and Fredonia.
Scouting Nazareth: The Golden Flyers women's team will enter Wednesday's matchup with a 4-1 dual meet record, with the men currently sitting at 0-5. The women's team most recently defeated Penn State Behrend 178-118, with the men's team falling 186-102.
