The SUNY Brockport men's ice hockey team will host their second annual Willie Bee Foundation Jersey Night on Tuesday, January 9
th against Fredonia State at 7:00PM. The Golden Eagles will dawn special edition uniforms throughout the contest as a tribute to the Willie Bee Foundation. The game worn jerseys will be available for purchase via silent auction from January 9
th at 8:00PM through Friday, January 19
th until 12:00PM (EASTERN).
The Willie Bee Foundation is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization founded in August of 2017 to benefit local families who have a child facing a life-threatening illness. The Willie Bee Foundation was founded in memory of Will, who lost his life after a courageous battle with AT/RT, an aggressive brain tumor just a few weeks shy of his second birthday. "We look to ease the burden that families who have a child with a life-threatening illness face, we have realized that how we ease that burden looks different for every family we have the honor and privilege of doing something for. We listen to our families and assist where they can benefit most. We also aim to help families make memories."
The bidding on all 26 players uniforms will start at $50 with proceeds to benefit The Willie Bee Foundation. Bidding should be done in a minimum $5 increments. You can place a bid by emailing Head Coach
