Brockport. NY- The Brockport swimming and diving teams will head to Alfred University for the Alfred University Tri-Meet on Saturday, October 26^th at 1 p.m. The Golden Eagles will compete against Alfred and Alfred State on Saturday.
 
Last Meet: The men's (285 points) and women's (431.5 points) teams finished 4^th at the Brockport Early Season Invite at the Webster Aquatic Center on Saturday, October 19^th.
 
The women's 200-yard medley relay team of Miya Vitale, Addy Martino, Madeline Erhardt, and Sarah Kilburn placed third with a 1:54.74.
 
In the men's relay, Brockport placed fourth with a time of 1:43.23 off of the efforts from Luca Olivieri, Josh Lauzonis, Erik Parkes, and Garrett Nanna.

 Addy Martino clocked in at 1:12.56 for fourth in the women's 100-breaststroke event. Martino also took third in the 200 breaststroke thanks to her time of 2:37.48.
 
Sarah Kilburn then placed third in the 50-freestyle with a time of 25.66 in her solo event.
 
On the diving board, Brockport's lone diver competing on the day was Jennah Bovay. The first-year Golden Eagle placed eighth on the 1-meter board (128.95) and seventh on the 3-meter board (140.30).
 
The meet closed out with the 200-freestyle relays, and the Brockport women's group took third with a time of 1:47.29. This time around, the group was Emma Butler, Miya Vitale, Hannah Ramos, and Sarah Kilburn.
 
On the men's side, Garrett Nanna, Erik Parkes, Will Mergl, and Jace Fredericksen took fourth in the 200-freestyle relay. These four Golden Eagles teamed up for a 1:32.48 performance in the event.
 
Scouting Alfred: The Saxons women's team fell in their season opener at RIT, 215-71, while the men's team fared similarly with a 223-77 loss. Brockport and Alfred have not met since 2012, which saw a 169.5-119.5 win for the women's team, and a 170-109 loss for the men.
 
Scouting Alfred State: The Pioneers men's team sits at 1-1, while the women's team has started the season 0-2. The men's team is coming off a 132-77 win over Nazareth last Saturday, while the women's team suffered a 143-92 loss. In 2023, the Brockport men's team was on the short end of a 226-65 loss to Alfred State.
