Alfred, NY- Brockport's men's and women's swimming & diving teams competed at the Alfred Tri-Meet on Saturday, October 26^th.
 
The women's team rolled to a 2-0 day, downing Alfred 158-74 and defeating Alfred State 152-82. The men's team went 1-1, falling to Alfred 162-74 before beating Alfred State 131-102.
 
Women's Team:
 
The women's 200-yard medley relay secured Brockport's first win of the day, with Miya Vitale, Addy Martino, Sarah Kilburn, and Madeline Erhardt combining for a 1:56.34 time.
 
Miya Vitale took 2^nd place in the 100-yard backstroke, posting a 1:04.32 time.
 
In the 50-yard freestyle, Sarah Kilburn finished a close second with a 25.68 mark.
 
Sarah Colwell (2^nd, 12:19.34) and Hannah Pauly (3^rd, 12.27.35) each secured top-3 finishes in the 1,000-yard freestyle.
 
The Golden Eagles rolled in 1-meter diving, with Emma Conner taking the win and Jennah Bovay finishing 3^rd. Brockport would do more of the same in the 500-yard freestyle, with Sarah Colwell (1^st, 5:49.62) and Addy Martino (2^nd, 5:57.56) making up the top two spots.
 
The women's team would shine on the diving board, with Jennah Bovay (1^st, 246.85) and Emma Conner (2^nd, 205) taking the top two spots in the 3-meter dive.
 
Addy Martino picked up her 2^nd win of the day in the 100-yard backstroke (1:12.70), with Lindsey Spitz taking 2^nd place (1:15.11).
 
Qian Rappazzo (2^nd, 2:35.45) and Sam Whitman (3^rd, 2:36.26) finished in the top 3 in the women's 200-yard IM.
 
Hannah Ramos earned herself a 2^nd place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, wrapping up in 2:08.13. Ramos would add a 3^rd place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (1:06.04).
 
Madeline Erhardt took 2^nd in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing in 1:05.25.  
 
 
Men's Team:
 
Mike Laviani snagged 3^rd in the 1,000-yard freestyle, finishing in 11:42.47.
 
In the 200-yard freestyle, Erik Parkes bought home the win with a 1:48.94 mark for the men's team. Jace Frederickson added a 3^rd-place finish as well (1:55.23). Parkes would secure another win, taking first in the 100-yard butterfly.
 
Fredericksen would impress in the 500-yard freestyle, taking 2^nd place with his 5:14 mark.
 
Luca Olivieri finished a close 3^rd in the 100-yard freestyle, ending in 50.53.
 
Ren Watson finished 2^nd in the 3-meter dive, finishing with a final score of 328.05.
 
The men's 400-yard freestyle relay of Erik Parkes, Jace Fredericksen, Mike Laviani, Luca Olivieri took 2^nd place with a strong 3:25.46 finish.
 
Up Next: Brockport will head to Geneseo to take on the Knights on Saturday, November 2^nd at 1 p.m.
