Box Score Brockport, NY- The Brockport men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 0-0 draw against Geneseo at home on Wednesday, October 30
th. The Golden Eagles finish with a 6-6-4 record and a 5-3-3 mark in conference play, entering the Empire 8 tournament.

Brockport controlled the possession battle in the opening half, outshooting Geneseo 9-0 in the opening half.

On nine shots, the Golden Eagles created two scoring chances.
Brady Reinagel and
Finn Sullivan provided the chances, but both were stopped by Knights goalie Vincent Maronski Jr.

Exiting halftime at 0-0, the Golden Eagles continued to pressure Geneseo throughout. Once again, Brockport posted nine shots compared to just two for Geneseo, both Geneseo shots being saved by
Andrew Taylor.

Despite scoring chances from
Russ Domm (2SOG),
Trevor Lagarde, and
Andy Cespedes in the second half, the Golden Eagles offense never found its footing. Brockport would earn ten corner kick chances in the contest, holding Geneseo to none.

The goalies for both teams stole the show, as the two former SUNYAC rivals fought to a 0-0 draw over 90 minutes of action.

Russ Domm would lead all players with five shots and two shots on goal.

Andrew Taylor posted a shutout between the pipes, saving two shots on the day.

Giovanni Cardona, Alex Rivera,
Russ Domm, and
Khadim Amar all went the distance for Brockport, playing all 90 minutes.
