Rochester, NY- The Brockport men's soccer team dropped Wednesday's Empire 8 Semifinal game against St. John Fisher in penalty kicks (0-0, 4-1 shootout) on November 6
th.

Despite a 4-3 shot advantage for Brockport in the first half, the Cardinals would post the only three shots on net in the half. Goalie
Andrew Taylor was up to the task, saving all three chances to enter the second half scoreless.

The Cardinals would continue to threaten in the second half, outshooting Brockport 10-6 with four shots on goal.

Russ Domm would threaten early with a scoring chance at the 55:25 mark of the contest but was denied by Christian Burkhart.

Peter Tinaj looked to break the tie at the 75:55 mark but was stopped by Burkhart of Fisher.

Andrew Taylor would make a game-saving stop on Joey Avallone, sending the game into overtime.

Russ Domm forcing another save by Burkhart to send the game into double overtime.

Despite a combined four shots in the second overtime, neither team could create a scoring chance, sending the Empire 8 Semifinals into the shootout.
