Brockport, NY- The Brockport ice hockey team will host Chatham for a pair of UCHC contests beginning on Friday, January 17
th, at 7 p.m. The Golden Eagles will host Alumni Night on Saturday, January 18
th, at 4 p.m. against Chatham.

Last Outing: Brockport took Elmira College to the limit, falling 4-3 in overtime on Saturday, January 11
th. The Golden Eagles moved to 2-8-2 on the season following the loss.

Mitchell Haight (PP) and
Jordan Rosenbaum both netted goals for the Golden Eagles.
Â
Joseph Nikac would lead the way for Brockport, picking up two points (1G, 1A) with a team-best +2 rating.

Schuyler Flansburg led all skaters with four blocked shots in a strong defensive effort.

David Filak was strong in defeat, making 36 saves, including 13 in the third period.

Chase Maxwell was excellent in the faceoff circle, winning five of seven draws.

UCHC POTW: Following a 1-1 weekend,
Cole Hudson and
Kaleb Miller earned UCHC Goaltender and Co-Rookie of the Week honors. Making four game-saving stops in overtime against Fredonia,
Cole Hudson would finish with 35 saves in the contest, allowing just three goals.
Kaleb Miller had a strong weekend as well, scoring the golden goal in a win over Fredonia and adding an assist against Elmira.

Bouncing Back: Brockport will enter the weekend with a chance to climb the UCHC standings. With regulation wins over Chatham this weekend, the Golden Eagles would jump the Cougars in the UCHC standings and close the gap on T-3
rd Manhattanville and Nazareth (10 points).

Scouting Chatham: The Cougars hold a 2-9-1 overall record with a 2-5-1 mark in UCHC play. Chatham will enter the weekend following back-to-back losses to Buffalo State and hold a 1-5-1 record on the road. Brockport has had recent success against Chatham, winning two of three head-to-head matchups.
