Brockport, NY – The men's and women's cross country teams are set to head to Fredonia for the Kara Hall Memorial Cross Country Invitational on Saturday, October 4^th. The men will start at 11am and the women at 12pm.

Last Time Out – On September 20^th, the teams competed in the Yellow Jacket Invitational at the University of Rochester. The men placed 16^th out of 24 schools in the 8k race and the women took 17^th place. 

Men's Team –  Kyle Lovenguth took first for the Golden Eagles and 107^th overall at a mark of 27:36.2. 

Hayden Allington finished up in second for the team and 114^th crossing the line at 27:42.3. Thomas Canestrari finished shortly after in 123^rd at 27:50.3. 

Taking 135^th and fourth for Brockport was Patrick Allen at a time of 27:55.9. 

Logan Iversen finished up in 144^th place with a mark of 28:07.6.

Women's Team - Natalie Heselton finished first for Brockport and 88^th overall at time of 25:08.6. 

Taking silver for the Green and Gold was Madison Kirkpatrick at 25:31.7 good for 111^th place. 

Crossing the line just 10 seconds later was Rachael Gray, taking 120^th place with a mark of 25:41.0. 

Abilgail Polus finished up in 131^st at 25:57.5, and Taylor Nugent took 149^th at a time of 26:23.0.  

Up Next – The team will head to Houghton University a week from tomorrow for the Highlander Invitational on Saturday, October 11^th starting at 11am.
