BROCKPORT, NY - The Brockport Ice Hockey team dropped its UCHC Opener against #10-ranked Utica, 4-1, on Friday, November 14th. The Golden Eagles fell to 1-4 on the year following the conference loss.
The Pioneer offense was methodical throughout, scoring a goal or more in each period of the contest. Utica would take a 1-0 lead into the second period, thanks to Gabriel Lundberg's opening tally.Â
Despite 12-second period saves from
Dax Easter, Utica would double its advantage in the second period. Drake Morse would light the lamp for the #10-ranked team in the country to jump ahead 2-0.
Michael Kull,
