Fredonia, NY – The SUNY Brockport swim and dive team concluded day two of the Blue Devil Invite on Saturday. The women's team remains in first place with 1,317 points and the men moved up to second with 1,077.5 points.
 
To highlight day two, Nicole Orcutt set a new school record and pool record at Fredonia with a 1:53.26 in the women's 200-yard freestyle event. She took first place in the event, with teammate Hannah Ramos placing second at 2:00.69.
 
The women's 200-yard medley relay team claimed first place with a time of 1:49.57 swam by Anna Lowe, Addy Martino, Maddie Erhardt, and Nicole Orcutt. With a 1:52.71, Brockport saw Lauryn Ball, Lindsey Spitz, Miya Vitale, and Skylar King take third in the event.
 
Varshana Ramgulam took second place individually with a 4:46.20 in the 400-yard IM.
 
In the men's 100 butterfly, Erik Parkes time of 52.47 was good for second place. Maddie Erhardt took second as well on the women's side of the event with a 59.43.
 
Alex Nicita earned third place with a 1;49.61 time in the 200-yard freestyle.
 
In the women's 100-yard breaststroke, Addy Martino's time of 1:09.98 took third place.
 
Anna Lowe (59.74) and Lauryn Ball (1:01.21) placed second and third respectively in the 100-yard backstroke.
 
Alex Nicita, Patrick Power, Anthony O'Leary, and Erik Parkes teamed up for second place in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:20.51.
 
Nicole Orcutt, Sarah Colwell, Varshana Ramgulam, and Hannah Ramos concluded the day with a first-place time of 7:58.17 in the women's 800-yard freestyle relay.
 
The Golden Eagles are back in action on Sunday for the final day of the Blue Devil Invite out at Fredonia.
