Brockport, NY- The #6 seeded Brockport ice hockey team will head to #3 seed Manhattanville on Wednesday, February 26^th at 6 p.m.   
 
Last Outing: The Golden Eagles finished the season strong with a 5-3 win at Chatham on Saturday, February 22^nd. Brockport finishes the regular season 6-17-2 overall, with a 4-16 mark in conference play.
 
Chase Maxwell had the answer for Brockport, scoring back-to-back goals less than eight minutes apart to tie the contest at 2-2 in the second period
 
Mitchell Haight would net the game-winning goal in the third period, with the defensemen doing it himself to push Brockport ahead 4-3. Jacob Rodrigue would end the comeback bid, connecting on the empty net to help give Brockport to 5-3 victory.
 
Trevor Joule would come off the bench to secure the win, making 11 saves across a scoreless third period to lead Brockport to the victory.
 
Michael Holland and Josh Higgins would lead Brockport with two blocked shots each.
 
Heating Up: Hitting his stride to close out the season, Chase Maxwell has been excellent offensively for Brockport. Maxwell has posted a point or better in each of his last four outings, leading Brockport with 14 points in 24 games played.  
 
Dynamic D-Man: Jacob Gates has emerged as a quality distributor for the Brockport offense, posting an assist or better in his last four. In Brockport's win over Chatham, Gates led all players with three assists, the most in a single game by a Brockport skater this season.
 
Scouting Manhattanville: The Valiants earned the #3 seed in the UCHC Tournament, finishing 9-15-1 overall with an 8-11-1 mark in conference play. Manhattanville will be looking for its fifth win over Brockport on the season.
 
Up Next: With a win, Brockport will head to the UCHC semifinals on Saturday, March 1^st, with the time and opponent still to be determined.
