Brockport, NY- The #12 Brockport baseball team saw its season come to an end at NCAA Regionals, falling to host Randolph-Macon, 9-4, on Saturday, May 17
th.

Jason Story had a huge game at the plate, going 4-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, finishing just a triple short of the cycle.

Josh Indek (2-4) and
Zach Eldred (2-5, R, RBI) provided two hits each to help power the Brockport offense.
Â
Ryan Peters was excellent out of the bullpen, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings (0 ER) with six strikeouts.

The Golden Eagles took an early lead, scoring two runs in the bottom of the first.
Zach Eldred ripped an RBI single to open the scoring, followed by a
Nick Mahar RBI walk.

Randolph-Macon would respond with eight unanswered runs, entering the bottom of the fifth inning up 8-2.

Jason Story would launch a solo home run to cut into the lead, but Randolph-Macon would get the run back with a sacrifice fly in the eighth inning to enter the final frame up 9-3.

Needing six runs in the ninth, a
Chris Martin RBI double would bring Brockport within five, but time would run out on the Brockport comeback, falling 9-4.

Angelo Agro closed out the contest with a scoreless frame, with
Nick Ianniello providing a scoreless inning of relief.

The Golden Eagles finished the 2025 season 36-5-2 overall, setting a new program record for single-season wins, with several athletes breaking individual records.
