Brockport, NY – The SUNY Brockport swim and dive teams both picked up wins on Saturday in a dual with Hobart & William Smith. Celebrating Senior Day in style, Brockport won 228-48 in the men's matchup and 184-108 on the women's side of the action.
Prior to the start of the meet, the Golden Eagles honored a group of 15 seniors for their dedication and contributions to the program.

Sam Whitman all were recognized. To serve as the icing on the cake for the celebration, all seniors won at least one event on Senior Day.
Brockport's big day started with a win for the men's 200-yard medley relay in the first event of the meet.

Garrett Nanna teamed up for a winning time of 1:43.11.
The women's team followed suit with a winning time of 1:57.58 in the 200-yard medley relay. Brockport's winning group included
Miya Vitale,
Addy Martino,
Maddie Erhardt, and
Qian Rappazzo.
Moving to the 1,000-yard freestyle, the Golden Eagles claimed first, second, and third on the men's side of the action. In first it was
Anthony O'Leary with a 10:45.19. Second was
Evan Sousa's time of 11:28.90. In third,
Caleb McMillan clocked in at 11:47.86.
In the women's 1,000-yard freestyle, Brockport earned two of the top three times.
Sarah Colwell took second with a 12:11.27 and
Teegan Perry placed third with a 12:25.56.
Brockport snagged all the points from the 200-yard freestyle event, with Hobart not having an entry for the race.
Erik Parkes swam a 1:51.05 to place first in the race against his teammates.
Anna Lowe continues her impressive season with a win in the 200-yard freestyle for the women. Her time of 2:02.60 was good for first place in a field of six for the event.
The Golden Eagles went 1-2-3 once again in the men's 50-yard backstroke. Senior
Chip Murphy swam a 29.18 to take the win.
Caleb McMillan hit a 29.85 for second and
Evan Sousa's 29.92 was good for third.
On the women's side of the 50-yard backstroke, Brockport saw a photo finish between two Golden Eagles for first and second. With a 30.06,
Hannah Ramos won the race, ahead of
Cassie Barber's time of 30.07.
In another dominant event for the Green and Gold, the 50-yard breaststroke saw three Brockport swimmers out front for the men.
Taylan Getiren took first at 30.06,
Kaleb Podoliak was second at 33.02, and
Carter Lundin placed third at 34.32.
Sam Whitman would also take first place in the 50-yard breaststroke to celebrate Senior Day on the women's side. She clocked in at 34.25 for the event win.
Garrett Nanna claimed the top time in the men's 100-yard butterfly on Saturday, with a winning time of 59.38. Teammate Geroge Weir was close behind in second with a time of 59.47.
In the women's 100-yard butterfly, Brockport had the top two times once again.
Maddie Erhardt placed first with a time of 1:02.38. Teammate
Varshana Ramgulam took second, finishing in 1:03.27.
Moving to the women's 50-yard freestyle event, the women took the top two spots yet again. This time around it was a 24.75 time from
Anna Lowe to claim first, with
Skylar King's 26.67 good for second.
Brenden Jardin-Reed went uncontested in the 1-meter diving competition, scoring a 280.45. He also won on the 3-meter board, taking first with his score of 299.50.
Ashley Oswald had a solid day on the boards for Brockport, taking first place on the 1-meter board with a 241.85. She also added a second-place score of 239.10 on the 3-meter board.
In the men's 100-yard freestyle,
Jack Olsian earned the top spot with his time of 51.90.
Maddie Erhardt followed suit for the women's 100 freestyle race, claiming first place with a time of 56.81.
Addy Martino took second in the event with her time of 59.26.
The men's team would go on to grab 1-2-3 once again, this time in the 100 backstroke event.
Jace Fredericksen led the way with a 57.86 for first place.
Conner Berger took second with a 59.97 and
Drew Wekar was third at 1:03.55.
Finishing at 1:01.08,
Anna Lowe won first place in the women's 100 backstroke. Teammate
Sage Vadney swam a time of 1:06.80 to take second in the event.
Anthony O'Leary picked up another win with a 1:04.95 time in the men's 100-yard breaststroke.
RJ Krupski took second with his time of 1:09.35.
Senior
Lindsey Spitz got in on the action with her first place time of 1:13.01 in the women's 100-yard breaststroke.
Back in the pool for another event,
Erik Parkes swam a 5:12.01 to place first in the men's 500-yard freestyle. Lundin Carter was second at 5:40.35 and
Caleb McMillan took third at 5:41.07.
In the women's 500-yard freestyle,
Lydia Lapierre celebrated her Senior Day with a winning time of 5:39.33.
In yet another 1-2-3 performance, the men's squad dominated in the 50-yard butterfly event.
Joe Keeney took first at 24.28,
Zander Benz was second at 26.56, and
Drew Wekar took third at 26.60.
Brockport was uncontested in the men's 100-yard IM.
Chip Murphy added another event win with his time of 1:04.12 in the race.
On the women's side of the event,
Varshana Ramgulam took first place thanks to a finishing time of 1:05.24.
Skylar King took second with her time of 1:06.02.
Closing out the dual meet with the 200-yard freestyle relays, Brockport would walk away with the win for both the men and women.

For the women, it was
Anna Lowe,
Maddie Erhardt,
Varshana Ramgulam, and
Hannah Pauly swimming a first-place time of 1:54.22.
After a pair of Golden Eagle wins on Saturday, the women's team moves to 5-2 and the men are now 3-4 in dual meets this season.
Brockport is set to travel to Fredonia on Saturday, January 31
st for the final dual meet on the schedule for the year. The meet is set to begin at 1pm.
