Brockport, NY – The men's and women's indoor track and field teams dominated on their home track at the Brockport Friday Night Meet.
Men's Team Recap
Kyle DeRomanis opened the meet on a high note, clinching third place in the 5000m with a time of 16:20.81.
Tyler Judd ran 6.63 seconds in the men's 60m hurdles finals, earning fourth place.
In the 600m, Timothy Smith secured a first-place finish with a time of 1:19.75.
Brayden Mahoney also claimed first place in the 400m, crossing the line in 52.34 seconds.
Derek Grimshaw set a new school record in the 60m finals, taking first in 6.87 seconds, while Evan Thayer finished third in 7.12 seconds.
Michael Durski added another school record in the 300m sprint, finishing third overall with a time of 35.21 seconds.
Thomas Canestrari captured first place in the 1000m with a time of 2:32.18, ranking fifth all-time at Brockport.
In the 800m, Eduardo Salinas finished second in 2:01.77. Tyler Grossman placed fourth in 2:03.02, and Cody Harloff took fifth in 2:08.41.
Cole Ferris earned fourth place in the 200m with a time of 22.74 seconds, while Jeremy Chen followed closely in fifth at 22.88 seconds.
Chris Cammisa finished sixth in the 3000m with a time of 9:07.75.
The men's 4x200 relay team of Bryce Roberts, Gabriel Giannini, Logan Thompson, and Derek Grimshaw recorded a time of 1:32.29, moving into seventh all-time at Brockport.
The 4x400 relay team of Michael Durski, Malakye Moss, Owen Arbocus, and Ayden Grinion earned a third all-time mark and first place in the meet with a time of 3:20.92.
Brockport swept the high jump, with Cardin Chau taking first at 1.88m, Dillon Murphy finishing second at 1.83m, Jake Galley placing third at 1.83m, and Grant Gahaged securing fourth at 1.83m.
In the pole vault, Gabriel Giannini placed sixth with a clearance of 4.62m.
Dennis Bobbitt dominated the long jump, finishing first in the meet and second all-time with a leap of 7.30m. Gabriel Giannini earned third with a jump of 6.90m.
Bobbitt concluded his day with another first-place finish in the triple jump, posting a mark of 14.14m.
In the shot put, Allen Reome placed second with a throw of 14.46m, while Mitchell Ellsworth finished third at 14.26m.
Ellsworth returned to win the weight throw with a mark of 16.52m. Hunter Richards placed third at 15.68m, and Duncan Harbin finished fourth with a throw of 15.17m.
Women's Team Recap
In the women's mile, Salvatrice Piccolo finished eighth in 5:27.69, followed closely by Salma Moumen in ninth at 5:29.02.
Lily Rexford advanced to the finals of the 60m hurdles and placed fourth in 9.58 seconds.
Monica Cammarota took second in the 400m with a time of 1:01.57.
In the 60m finals, Meghan Muscarella finished fourth with a time of 8.11 seconds.
Courtney Bostic earned a bronze finish in the 300m, clocking 43.15 seconds.
Lindsey Male placed fifth in the 1000m with a time of 3:20.62.
Ethne Degan broke her own program record in the 800m, winning the event in 2:16.38. Emily Leo placed third in 2:22.37, and Lily Pink followed in fourth at 2:24.99.
Alexis Rodriguez finished sixth in the 200m with a time of 27.07 seconds.
Hailey Morrison secured fourth place in the 3000m, crossing the line in 11:00.56.
In the high jump, Katie Pavelchak cleared 1.44m to place fourth, while Tessa Patchen finished fifth at the same height.
Becca Bready cleared 3.37m in the pole vault to earn fifth place.
Meghan Muscarella placed third in the long jump with a mark of 5.54m.
Sasha Schramm claimed first place in the triple jump with a leap of 10.90m, while Abby Zeh finished third at 10.64m.
In the shot put, Trinity Dees earned third place with a throw of 12.14m, and Rhian Crowley placed fourth at 11.26m.
To close out the meet, Trinity Dees and Bella Rivera delivered strong performances in the weight throw. Dees placed third with a mark of 14.88m, and Rivera finished fourth at 14.25m.
