Brockport, N.Y. — The Empire 8 has named jumper Sasha Schramm as this week's Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week following a strong showing at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic this past weekend.

Schramm opened competition with a long jump of 5.41 meters, placing 19th overall. She currently ranks 28th in NCAA Division III in the event with a season-best mark of 5.49 meters.

In the triple jump, Schramm recorded a leap of 10.58 meters to finish 23rd in the two-day meet. She also holds a national ranking in the event, sitting 40th in Division III with a mark of 11.12 meters this season.

The Golden Eagles will return to action on Sunday, April 19, traveling to the University of Rochester. Competition is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
