Biography

A graduate from Arlington High School, Matt is the son of Richard and Laura McGowan and has one sibling. During his high school career he was recognized for his play with All-League and All-Section selections as well as being named League MVP. McGowan joined the Golden Eagles after previously attending Dutchess Community College where he was on the baseball team. At DCC he earned NJCAA Region XV Academic All-Region, Mid-Hudson Conference All-Academic Squad, and NJCAA Third-Team All-Academic honors. He is pursuing a degree in Physical Education.
