Jon is entering first year on the Brockport Baseball Coaching Staff in 2018-2019. Taking on roles of instructing Outfielders on daily routines along with assisting daily operations, recruiting, and game play.Â
Schlesing began Coaching Victor High School Baseball immediately after playing, the team won 2018 Section V Championship and went on to the NYSPHSAA Final Four. Afterwards, he went on to coach in the Interstate Collegiate Baseball League and Upstate Baseball Prospect League in Summer 2018. Jon will take on Pitching Coach responsibilities for the Newark Pilots (Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League) in Summer 2019, along with Brockport Baseball duties.
As a player, Jon was a starting pitcher at Mohawk Valley CC for two years and won the 2015 George L. Scala Award for Leadership and On-Field Play. He went on to play at St. John Fisher College, winning the 2013 Rochester Collegiate Baseball League Prospect Pitcher of the Year. Schlesing lso spent two years apart of the Philadelphia Phillies Amateur Player Development Program.
Currently residing in Victor, NY. Graduate of Victor High School, Mohawk Valley CC and Brockport College.Â
