Kylie Ryan joins The College at Brockport Track and Field coaching staff for the 2018-2019 season and will serve as the Sprints and Hurdles coach.
Ryan joins the Brockport staff while finishing her Masters in Exercise Science at SUNY Cortland. While attending the rival conference school, she was one of the assistant coaches for Sprints and Hurdles and served as the sprints recruiting coordinator.
As a student-athlete herself, Ryan had a successful four-year career at SUNY Geneseo. There she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in mathematics. She was a SUNYAC Champion in the 400m hurdles in 2015, helping her team claim the Championship title. She served as team captain her senior year while competing at the NCAA Championships indoors, running the 400m leg of her teams DMR and outdoors competing in the 400m hurdles. She graduated with five school records and over 20 top ten performances in team history.
Ryan also earned her Level I USATFCCA Coaching Certification and plans to obtain her CSCS certification in the near future.
