Vince Correa

Vince Correa returned to Brockport as an assistant coach in the fall of 2023.  Correa was previously the assistant coach at Brockport from 2011-2015, where he helped guide Brockport to four SUNYAC Playoff appearances, one SUNYAC Final appearance and an NCAA tournament appearance in 2014.

In 2018 Correa took on the head assistant position at Brockport, where he helped lead the team to a 16-5-2 record, a SUNYAC Championship, and a berth in the NCAA tournament where they advanced to the second round of play. Four players were named to the All-Region team.

In 2016 Correa left Brockport to take the head coaching position at Finger Lakes Community College, where his team finished 8-8 after a previous record of 4-13-1, with two student athletes named to the MSAC All-Conference team.

In 2017 Correa’s FLCC team finished with an 11-9 record, a playoff berth which led the team to the Eastern Regional Semifinal game, and two players named to the MSAC All-Conference team.

In 2021 Correa went back for a second stint as Head Coach at Finger Lakes Community College. He led the team to a 12-5 record and to the Eastern Region semifinal game. Three players were selected to the All-Region team and qualified for All-American nomination.

Prior to coaching college soccer Correa was the head coach at East Rochester High School, where he was honored with Class “C” Coach of the Year (2010), his team won a Section V Class “C” title (2010), Western Region Champs (2010), and competed in the New York State Final Four (2010).

Correa received a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Brockport. He lives in East Rochester, N.Y. with his wife, Erin, daughters, Luna and Isla, and son, Zé.
