Chuck Sciortino

Charles Sciortino

Charles Sciortino was hired as an assistant coach in the fall of 2014.

For the six years previous, Sciortino was the head varsity softball coach at Our Lady of Mercy High School where he managed the entire softball program.  Sciortino led the team to four NYS Section V Class A Championships (2009, 2011, 2012, 2013) and was the 2013 Section V Class A Champion.  In 2011, Sciortino's team was named the NFCA Top Ten All American Academic Teams.

In 2007 and 2008, Sciortino was an assistant coach for the Monroe Community College softball team where he helped the team win two NJCAA Division III National Championships.  During the 2007 season, the team had a record of 52 wins and 2 losses.  That year, Sciortino was awarded the NFCA National Coaching Staff of the Year for NJCAA Division III.

Sciortino graduated from The College at Brockport in 1997 and spent over twenty years with the City of Rochester Police Department and the Town of Webster Police Department before entering the coaching field in 2003.
