Morgan Flamholtz

Morgan joined the coaching staff for the Brockport softball program in the summer of 2019 after playing at Brockport for four years and graduating with a degree in physical education. As a graduate assistant she handles planning practices, organizing fundraising events, and recruiting as well as other duties. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in athletic administration.

Since coming to Brockport  she has also gained experience teaching at the K-12 and college education levels. She has spent time student teaching grades K-12 at the nearby Hilton School District and has taught multiple physical education courses at SUNY Brockport. As a KSSPE department graduate assistant she continues to teach activity-based classes to physical education majors.

Flamholtz's coaching experience goes back to before her playing days at Brockport when she served as an assistant coach for Beacon Xtreme Softball Travel Organization from 2014-2017. From her connections working in the Hilton School District she has helped out as the varsity goalie coach for the high school's field hockey team since 2018. Outside of coaching softball at SUNY Brockport since 2019 she recently gained more experience coaching at the Homerun Softball Camp and Elite Collegiate Skills Camp during the summer of 2021.

During her time as a student-athlete for the Golden Eagles she served the program as team captain and earned Dean's List status for multiple semesters. She was recognized for her effort off the field as a nominee for the SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence and Physical Education Major of the Year. She was awarded the Dr. Eugene F. Orbaker Award for Excellence in Student Teaching in 2018 and was recognized as a NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete from 2016-2019.
