SUNY Brockport Athletics

Lacey Blodgett joined The College at Brockport Athletic Department as an assistant coach for the Track and Field program in 2013. Blodgett, a 2006 Brockport alum, will assist in the area of sprints and hurdles.

As an undergrad, Blodgett was a four-year member of both the indoor and outdoor track teams, competing in the 55m/100m hurdles. Blodgett placed at SUNYACS and States all eight seasons of indoor and outdoor, and also placed at numerous ECAC meets. Blodgett narrowly missed qualifying for the Division III nationals in the 55m hurdles.

While on the team, Blodgett also served as team captain and a member of the SUNY Brockport Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC).

Blodgett holds a B.S. from The College at Brockport in Professional Health Science with a K12 Health Education Certification and has taught Health Eduction at Hilton High School for eight years. Blodgett has also worked as sprint/hurdle coach at Hilton HS for 4 years, as the Girls Indoor Head coach for the 09-10 season, as well as, running the ‘Hurdle Crew’ at all of Hilton’s large meets (including invitationals, Counties and Sectionals) for the past 7 years.

When not coaching, Blodgett spends time with her husband and two children.
