Alumnus Alex Testa ‘23 was hired as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at SUNY Brockport in the Summer of 2024.
While at Brockport, Testa will be responsible for assisting Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Bryonne Herring, with developing training programs based on individual athletes and team/program needs while also collaborating with coaches and athletic training staff on overall conditioning, rehabilitation and welfare of student athletes.
Testa comes back to Brockport after interning with the University at Buffalo’s Strength and Conditioning and Football Program. During his time at UB Testa acquired hands-on experience in a Division I program and assisted with coaching, data management and fueling station.
Prior to UB, he spent time interning here with Brockport’s Strength and Conditioning program assisting with coaching and data management.
During his time as a student at Brockport, Testa played football for the Green and Gold from 2019-2023 and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology, Kinesiology, and Alcohol and Substance abuse.
Originally from Greece, NY, where he currently resides, Testa attended Greece Arcadia High School.
