Elizabeth Sherwood

Elizabeth Sherwood joined the SUNY Brockport Department of Athletics in Fall 2025 as an Office Assistant. In her role, she supports the day-to-day financial and clerical operations of the department, with a strong emphasis on auditing and calculation activities. Elizabeth’s primary responsibilities include managing student employment payroll, auditing and approving Work Study and Temp Service hours, monitoring departmental budgets, and processing purchasing and travel transactions. She also oversees purchase requisitions, P-card and Net card reconciliations, Tower and conference meal cards, and Golden Eagle Society check requests.

Elizabeth brings more than a decade of administrative and financial operations experience to Brockport. Prior to joining the Golden Eagles, she spent over six years at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where she held positions in the Saunders College of Business and the university’s central offices, including Sr. Staff Specialist, Sr. Program Staff Assistant, and Sr. Staff Assistant. Before her time at RIT, she served as Office Manager at the Teacher Learning Center in Rochester for more than five years, where she honed her skills in office administration and organizational support.

With her background in higher education administration, financial processes, and office management, Elizabeth plays a key role in ensuring the Athletics department runs efficiently and effectively in its mission to support Brockport’s student-athletes and programs.
