Jordan Thompson joined SUNY Brockport as an Athletic Trainer in summer 2026 and works with the Golden Eagles’ football, cross country, swim & dive, and women’s flag football programs. She assists with injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, emergency care, and daily operations within Brockport’s athletic training department.
Thompson returned to Brockport after earning her Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Virginia in 2026. During her graduate education, she gained Division I clinical experience with Virginia Football, Virginia Softball, and University at Buffalo Football while working alongside physicians, athletic trainers, coaches, and strength staff in the care of collegiate student-athletes.
A Brockport alumna, Thompson earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with a minor in coaching in 2023 and was a standout volleyball student-athlete for the Golden Eagles. She was a two-time AVCA All-American Honorable Mention selection, twice earned AVCA All-Region honors, was a two-time First Team All-SUNYAC performer, and received CSC Academic All-District recognition.
Thompson is board certified, holds Mental Health First Aid and American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certifications, and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association.
