Senior Maria Quagliana (Horseheads, NY/Horseheads) has been dominant in the diving events this winter. She has eclipsed the NCAA Division III National Championship qualifying standard five times this year, four times on the one-meter board and once on the three-meter. For her consistent performances this season, Quagliana is The College at Brockport’s Female Athlete of the Week.

Quagliana has won the one-meter event five out of six meets, with a high score of 289.45 points during a home meet inside Brockport’s James B. Fulton Natatorium Nov. 13 against Potsdam. She has captured the three-meter event during all six of the Golden Eagles’ meets, eclipsing the qualifying standard during a home win over Wells College. She has earned the State University of New York Athletic Conference’s Female Diver of the Week award once during her senior season.
