Sophomore Katie Frieh (Amherst, NY/Amherst) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on October 27.

Frieh had a breakout game on Saturday and helped the Golden Eagles to a 3-0 victory over Potsdam. In the victory that closed out State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) play, Frieh tallied her first two career goals.

At 77:03, Frieh scored her first collegiate goal after shooting the ball right past the Potsdam goalkeeper on a penalty kick. Five minutes later, Frieh tallied number two with a header off of a corner kick.

With the victory, the Golden Eagles clinched a fourth place spot in SUNYAC playoffs and will host Oswego on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
