Junior Anthony Bianchi (Rochester, NY/Aquinas Institute) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on November 3.

The line backer led the Brockport defense in a big New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) win over TCNJ. Bianchi’s strong performance helped the Golden Eagles move into a first place in the conference with Rowan.

Bianchi finished the game with 14 tackles, two pass breakups and an interception. His interception came during TCNJ’s final drive of the game, ending any chance of a late comeback attempt.

Bianchi was also named NJAC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Saturday against Montclair St. for the final home game of the season at 1:00 pm
