Junior Melanie Melewski (New Baltimore, NY/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending on November 3.

The swimmer, had another strong weekend for the Golden Eagles. Melewski re-broke the school record in the 100-yard breaststroke against Nazareth on Saturday after breaking it just last weekend during the season opener.

Against Nazareth, Melewski trimmed nearly a full second off her record with a winning time of 1:07.48. She also placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke and won the 200-yard IM.

Brockport returns to action at Potsdam on Saturday, November 16 for 2:00 pm meet.
