Senior men’s basketball player Brandon Caruthers (Rochester, NY/East) has been chosen as The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending on February 23.

Caruthers closed out his final regular season with the Golden Eagles in strong fashion.

On Friday night, Caruthers helped Brockport beat New Paltz and clinch the regular season conference title.

Saturday night, during Senior Day, Caruthers led the Golden Eagles to an 86-71 victory. Against the Red Dragons, Caruthers scored 21 points and handed out a career-high eight assists.

Brockport, who finished 22-3 overall and 16-2 in the conference, will now host the semi-final and championship games of the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) on Friday and Saturday. More information on teams and game times will be released during the week.
