Senior Justin Cook (Endicott, NY/Union Endicott) has been named The College at Brockport Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 23. Cook led the Men’s Lacrosse team to consecutive victories as the Golden Eagles are now on a three game winning streak.

Cook scored nine goals over the span of two dominating games for the Golden Eagles. Brockport defeated Elmira 16-1 Wednesday evening at home and then overpowered Adrian 18-4 Saturday afternoon in Michigan.

Cook scored four goals in the win over Elmira. His first goal put the Green and Gold ahead 4-0 at the end of the first quarter. He then scored the next goal of the game early in the second half after a scoreless second quarter. He added two more goals in the third quarter to total four on the game. For the contest, Cook converted four of his six shots for scores.

Cook got the Brockport scoring underway against Adrian, giving the Golden Eagles the 1-0 lead less than a minute into the action. He also scored with only a second remaining on the first quarter clock stretching Brockport’s lead to 6-3. Three more goals were scored by Cook, all in a row to close out the third quarter as Brockport won its second consecutive game in convincing fashion.
