Sophomore setter Noelle Poloncarz has been named The College at Brockport Female Athlete of the Week for the week ending Sept. 14 leading the Golden Eagles to three of its four victories at the Golden Flyer Invitational as volleyball remained undefeated and improved to 10-0 on the season.

Poloncarz was named tournament MVP leading the Golden Eagle attack. She continually put her teammates in prime position to successfully finish their attacks. Overall on the tournament, Poloncarz played three matches totaling 103 assists and 11 kills in 20 attempts compared to only two errors for a hitting percentage of .450. She also tallied three aces, proving to be a threat from the line as well.

The Brockport offense was extremely consistent with Poloncarz setting the team up every match leading Brockport to three straight 3-0 match wins. She finished the weekend posting three matches of more than 30 assists. Her best assist total came against Hartwick, as she finished the match with 39 assists while her best attacking day came against Vassar with four kills in five attempts for a hitting percentage of .800.
