Junior Nate Thomas (Cortland, NY/Cortland) scored two goals with two assists to lead The College at Brockport’s men’s lacrosse team past Kean University for its first win of the 2011 season. Thomas is Brockport’s Male Athlete of the Week.

Thomas’ first goal tied the score at 3-all early in the second period after Brockport rallied from an early, 2-0 deficit. That goal was part of a crucial 6-1 spurt as the Golden Eagles (1-4) seized control on the road.

Thomas also won four of his five faceoff attempts, as the Golden Eagles won 12 of the game’s 18 faceoffs.
