Brockport, NY – Freshman defensive back Raylens Boutin has been named this weeks Brockport Male Athlete of the Week.

Boutin, a member of the football team, contributed two interceptions in the third quarter of the Golden Eagles 14-0 victory over Framingham State on Saturday, returning both for touchdowns.

With 11 tackles over two games, Boutin is currently tied for the team lead. He has five passes defended, tied for most in the Empire 8 Conference, and his two interceptions this weekend has him tied for third in the league in interceptions. He also leads the E8 in yards following an interception.  He is one of three players in the conference who have two interceptions returned for touchdowns.

Currently 1-1, the Golden Eagles travel to Buffalo State this Saturday, before returning home on Sept. 28th to host Alfred State at 12 p.m. for homecoming weekend.
