Andrea Coyle, of the Brockport women’s volleyball team was named the College’s Female Athlete of the Week on Monday after posting 43 kills over the course of four matches last week. 
 
Coyle, a 5’9” outside-hitter, presented an individual season high of 14 kills in both matches against University of Rochester and Hamilton last weekend. She led her team with the most kills as the Golden Eagles defeated University of Rochester 3-0. She also added eight kills in a five set victory over Roberts Wesleyan on Wednesday.
 
With a total of 35 kills over the span of the three match Brockport Invite on Friday and Saturday, Coyle also managed to rack up another outstanding season high in points (15) against the University of Rochester and digs (10) against Hamilton.

Coyle currently ranks second on the team with 96 kills this season.  She is one of two players with 100+ points scored in just 10 matches played.  She also ranks fourth on the team with 10 blocks. 
 
Brockport returns to home court September 27thto play the Plattsburg State Cardinals after traveling to take on the Geneseo Knights on September 17th.
