Margeaux Gupilan

Margeaux Gupilan was added to The College at Brockport women’s basketball coaching staff during the summer of 2015. The assistant women’s basketball coach is a graduate of the University at Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in communications to go along with four years basketball playing experience for Division I Buffalo.

In the 2015-16 season, Gupilan coached two guards, Hannah Spencer and Faith Welch, to All-SUNYAC honors. She was also an instrumental part of the team's first SUNYAC tournament appearance since the 2008-09 season. 

Gupilan was a captain of the Bulls in three of four seasons played. She improved her numbers in each successive season as a guard with excellent vision, finishing with 357 career assists (sixth all time in Buffalo history). In her senior season, Gupilan averaged career-highs with 7.3 points and 4.7 assists per game.

Prior to joining the Brockport staff, Gupilan was the head junior varsity and assistant varsity girls’ basketball coach at Bishop Alemany High School as well as an admissions coordinator and marketing director for Covina Rehabilitation Center in California.

Gupilan is responsible for point guard and perimeter player development, recruiting prospective student-athletes, scouting opponents, monitoring student-athlete's academic progress, and film exchange.
