Senior Dan Brigano (Utica, NY/Proctor) scored an NCAA Division III Championships qualifying standard eclipsing 285.90 on the one-meter board to earn first place points in the event as The College at Brockport Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams competed against RIT in the first meet of the second semester Thursday night at Rochester. The Golden Eagles lost the men's competition by a score of 165-76 and RIT scored a 128-86 victory in the women's meet.

For the Brockport women, Chloe Macdonald (Williamsville, NY/Mt. St. Mary) shaved 13 seconds off her career best in the 1000-yard freestyle event and won with a time of 11:45.78.

“I was happy to see many of the swimmers record season-best times in their events,” said head coach Jack Stover. “There were several great swims out there and we are continuing to improve. We just need to remain on that track and keep working hard in practice as we move closer to the championships at the end of the season.”
