The College at Brockport's women's basketball team traveled to No. 1 Geneseo for a first-round State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) tournament game, and the No. 8 Golden Eagles lost 73-33 Tuesday night inside the Carl Schrader Gymnasium.

Kristin Abbott (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) scored a team-high eight points for the Golden Eagles, who were held to a season-low point total.

Desiree Fauvelle (Newport, NY/West Canada Valley) then hit a '3' to tie the game at 5-all with 17:09 left in the first half before the Blue Knights went on a 23-4 run to take a 28-9 advantage.

Liz Unger (Hamilton, NY/Hamilton) drained a '3' to snap the Geneseo run, but the Blue Knights used a 6-0 run to close out the half and went into the locker room leading 34-12.
Geneseo continued its hot ways to start the second half. The Blue Knights outscored Brockport 19-2 over the first 4:32 of the second to take a 53-14 lead, and Brockport couldn't rally against the SUNYAC's top team.
