Brockport will play Montclair State University at 9 am Saturday and is guaranteed to play in one of the 3 pm matches for either first place or third place at the Invitational.

“I was very pleased with the way Jaime (Snyder) stepped up her offensive production,” said head coach Kelly Greapentrog. “We played well as a team and Sarah (Zelko) served the first nine points in the third set with five aces to get us off to a 9-0 lead early.”

Jaime Snyder (Elmira, NY/Thomas Edison) finished with 12 kills to lead the Golden Eagles against Bridgewater State and Sarah Zelko (Elmira, NY/Horseheads) added 20 assists to go along with her five aces. Cocking had 14 digs and Kelly Nowak (Orchard Park, NY/Sacred Heart) chipped in six kills.

In the second match of the evening, Nowak was nearly unstoppable with a team-leading 17 kills and a hitting percentage of .534.
