Three different goal scorers and three different players added assists to lead a balanced attack for The College at Brockport Women's Soccer team as the Golden Eagles defeated Oswego, 3-1, Saturday in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game in Oswego.

The victory is the fifth straight win for Brockport (12-1-2 Overall, 5-1-1 SUNYAC)

Gillette scored at the 5:02 mark of the first half with an assist from senior Kaila Maguire (Potsdam, NY/Potsdam) giving Brockport the important early lead.

“Any time you come to Oswego and leave with a win, it's a good win,” said head coach Joan Schockow. “I am pretty sure this is one of the only times we have made this trip to Cortland and Oswego and came away with two wins. Oswego is a tough place to play and I'm proud of the way the team showed they could play and win on the road.”

Brockport extended the lead later in the first half as senior Gina Laing (Holland, NY/Holland) scored in the 32nd minute and fellow senior Lauren Drago (Scottsville, NY/Wheatland-Chili) scored less than two minutes later to make it a 3-0 Brockport lead. Katie Gildemeyer (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker) and Sarah Lawson (West Seneca, NY/West Seneca East) added the assists.

Oswego (5-8-0, 2-6-0) scored with 1:16 left in the second half to break up the shut out.

Hannah Conine (Conesus, NY/Livonia) made five saves to earn the victory in the Brockport goal.
