Fordyce's Big Night Not Enough Against RIT

Fordyce led Brockport in kills, aces, and blocks but the Golden Eagles fall to the Tigers 3-0

Hannalee Fordyce had a game-high 11 kills for Brockport on Tuesday night
The College at Brockport Volleyball team dropped three straight sets at RIT on Tuesday night, dropping the match by scores of 25-21, 25-11, and 25-14. The Golden Eagles fall to 6-16 on the year.

Brockport battled in a back-and-forth first set before the Tigers fought back to take game one. RIT took the final two sets from the Golden Eagles to improve to 18-9 on the year.

Hannalee Fordyce (Amityville, NY/Copiague) paced the Golden Eagles with a match-high 11 kills on the night. The junior also came through with two service aces and six digs while chipping in two block assists on the night. Jaime Snyder (Elmira, NY/Thomas Edison) also contributed a solid performance, leading the Golden Eagles with 10 digs while adding three kills.

Sarah Zelko (Elmira, NY/Horseheads) led Brockport with 15 assists on the night and added six digs. Nicole Jones (West Charlton, NY/Galway) had three kills and one block assist while Liz Dates (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg) had two aces and two digs.

The Golden Eagles will take part in the one-day Nazareth Tournament this weekend as Brockport will take on Nazareth on Saturday at 11:00 am followed by Medaille at 1:00 pm.
