Freshman Cecilia Sigrist (Rochester, NY/West Irondequoit) posted her third double-double of the season but The College at Brockport Women's Basketball team fell to the Oneonta Red Dragons at Brockport 82-46 Friday night.

Sigrist poured in 12 points and 12 rebounds, both team highs. The 12 rebounds also tied a career-high for the forward. Also joining Sigrist with double-digit points was Desiree Fauvelle (Newport, NY/West Canada Valley) with 11 points and Rachel Csakany (Schenectady, NY/Schenectady) with 10.

Brockport kept the game close for the first portion of the first half, trailing by just two at the 12:05 mark. From that point, with the score 9-7, Oneonta went on a 12-0 run to pull ahead. Seven of Sigrist's rebounds came in the first 20 minutes. Brockport trailed at halftime, 35-17.

Oneonta kept the points coming in the second half, holding a double-digit lead for the rest of the game. Oneonta shot 53.1 percent from the floor in the second half and finished with a 47.7 percentage overall. Fauvelle scored 10 of her points in the second half, including two three-point shots.

Brockport picks back up tomorrow afternoon with a 2:00 pm tip-off against New Paltz.
