With 15 minutes remaining in the second half, Brockport took a 2-1 lead as Terilli scored with a pass from Katie Gildemeyer (Baldwinsville, NY/CW Baker) just four minutes after being reinserted into the game.
The Golden Eagle held the slim lead until very late in the second half when the Cardinals scored with just 6:31 to play in the half to tie the score and force overtime.
In the overtime periods, each team had scoring chances and Brockport had a great chance in the closing seconds of the second overtime period with a short corner kick to the front edge of the 6-yard goalie box but the Fisher keeper was able to cover up the loose ball and preserve the tie.
Sophomore Laura Thompson (Victor, NY/Victor) played the entire game in the Brockport goal making seven saves.
"I was pleased with the way we were able to come back from the early deficit and take a lead," said Head Coach Joan Schockow. "We learned a lot tonight and I think this puts us in a good position for the challenging games coming up including the always tough SUNYAC games."
