Bobby Ross (Grand Island, NY/Grand Island) scored a late goal to give The College at Brockport men's soccer lead, but the Golden Eagles finished the game tied 1-1 on Saturday afternoon for a SUNYAC matchup at Oneonta.

Both teams played a solid game, each having opportunities to seal the win. The game remained scoreless until the 83rd minute when the Golden Eagles took advantage of an Oneonta red card. Ross scored his fourth goal of the season after a strong finish on a penalty kick.

Being a man-up, the Golden Eagles looked like they had the game. With time running out though, the Red Dragons tied things out. At 89:16 Oneonta capitalized on a drop pass in the box to send the game into overtime.

In overtime, both teams once again had chances to put the game away but could not come up with the finish.

The Red Dragons held a slight 14-12 advantage in shots and an 11-5 advantage in corner kicks.

Brockport returns to action on the road for a SUNYAC matchup at Geneseo on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
