Women's Soccer Loses 2-0 on the Road

Brockport Drops Road Game to Nationally Ranked Geneseo

Senior goalkeeper Laura Thompson (Victor, NY/Victor) kept The College at Brockport Women's Soccer team in a close State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game but was unable to secure the win in a 2-0 road loss to Geneseo.

The Golden Eagles fell behind early to the Knights. Geneseo took the 1-0 advantage less than two minutes into the game after a corner kick was headed into the Golden Eagle net.

Brockport was unable to get much going offensively on the road as they were outshot 14-2 by Geneseo. On the day Thompson finished with six saves against the nationally ranked Knights.
