Box Score Four different players scored goals in the second half as The College at Brockport Men's Soccer team poured it on for a 4-0 victory over New Paltz Saturday afternoon in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game on A. Huntley Parker Jr. Field in Brockport.
After a close first half of action, Brockport (6-1-4 Overall, 2-1-1 SUNYAC) turned the game around scoring three times in a span of 11 minutes and adding a late goal for the 4-0 victory. The Golden Eagles held a 14-2 shots advantage over New Paltz (3-7-1, 0-3-1) in the second half.
Junior Brandon Bianchi (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport) started the flurry of goals picking up a rebound of a Peter DiLorenzo (Hicksville, NY/Hicksville) shot that bounced straight out from the goal post and tapped the ball into the open goal to break the scoreless tie.
Eight minutes later, senior Nick Cafarelli (Rochester, NY/Gates-Chili) redirected a corner kick by fellow junior Collin Goettel (Rochester, NY/Spencerport) for the 2-0 Brockport lead.
Less than three minutes later, Bianchi sent a long crossing pass that Goettel headed into the back of the goal for the 3-0 lead.
Brockport used several substitutions down the stretch and freshman Stephen Latino (Poughkeepsie, NY/Our Lady of Lourdes) scored his first career goal with a short pass from fellow freshman Chris Shepard (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) with less than four minutes left to play for the final margin of victory.

Max Drexler (Rochester, NY/Greece Olympia) made five saves to record the shutout in his first start of the season for Brockport.
