Junior Peter DiLorenzo (Hicksville, NY/Hicksville) and junior Brandon Bianchi (Spencerport, NY/Spencerport) had the two best chances to score for The College at Brockport Men's Soccer team but St. John Fisher held on for a 0-0 double overtime tie Wednesday night in a non-conference game on Bob Boozer Field at Eunice Kennedy Shriver Stadium in Brockport.

DiLorenzo nearly gave Brockport (1-0-2) a 1-0 lead in the first half. In the 20th minute, Bianchi sent a pass into the 18-yard box and DiLorenzo headed the ball past the St. John Fisher (1-1-1) goalkeeper and into the back of the net but the sideline referee ruled offsides on the play and disallowed the goal.

Late in the second half, the Golden Eagles had another great opportunity when freshman Josh Hunt (Rochester, NY/Brighton) moved into the side of the box and fired a low hard shot toward the corner of the goal but the keeper made a diving stop pushing the ball over the endline.

The regulation time ended with a scoreless tie and the teams headed into the overtime. Brockport controlled the play in the extra periods with a 5-0 shots advantage but could not find the back of the net.

The best scoring chance came as time was running out in the second overtime period. Bianchi took a pass at the top of the box and dribbled past a defender to move within 15 yards of the goal and fired a shot that was deflected by a Cardinal defender and missed within a foot of the right goal post.

Brockport held a 19-8 shots advantage in the game and had 11 corner kicks to St. John Fisher's three.

Klein finished with four saves and junior Casey Sullivan (East Syracuse, NY/East Syracuse-Minoa) had three saves for Brockport.
