Box Score The College at Brockport Women's Basketball team's three game win streak was snapped Saturday evening as cold shooting in the second half proved to be the difference in the 60-53 loss to State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) opponent Plattsburgh in the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium on the campus of Brockport.
Brockport (5-11, 3-6 SUNYAC) held a 30-22 advantage at halftime but was unable to pull out the win as the team shot just 25% from the field in the second half. Plattsburgh also dominated the glass securing 49 rebounds compared to Brockport's 28.

Five minutes into the second half and the Golden Eagles lead had disappeared when Plattsburgh made a layup to tie the game up for the third time in the contest. With 11 minutes remaining in the game the Cardinals had built an eight point lead and led 43-35. However Brockport would not give up without a fight and proceeded to slowly pick away at the lead.
With just under seven minutes left in the game, Brockport's Marissa Pike (Burdett, NY/Watkins Glen) nailed a three pointer on an assist from Erin Cunningham (Marlboro, NY/Marlboro) that gave the Golden Eagles the momentary 48-47 lead. Plattsburgh answered back on its very next possession.
