BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport Wrestling team cruised to a 51-3 victory in a home dual against Alfred State Pioneers in the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium Wednesday evening as Wyatt DeMarre, Michael Falcon, Jeff Palmeri, Triston Engle and Jacob Morris all won their matches by pins earning the Golden Eagles six points each.

Engle, wrestling at the 197 pound class won by pin in the shortest amount of time, taking the victory a mere seconds after the match had begun. Twenty-eight seconds after the match began the result was final as he wasted little time in his tactics.

DeMarre was very close to breaking the one minute pin barrier, winning by fall at 1:05 in the 149 class. Palmeri was next fastest pin in the 184 class, winning in 2:15. Falcon's pin was also in the first period as he won in 2:40 in 165 while heavyweight Morris won in the third period at 5:16.

Also earning Brockport six points was Sean O'Hagan at the 141 pound class as he won by forfeit.

Also winning by Brockport all by technical fall were Asher Kramer (125), Eric Velez (133) and Bryan Mongiello (157). Kramer got things started for the Golden Eagles earning five points in his 16-0 win, while Velez added five more in his 26-4 win. Mongiello also finished with a 16-0 win but concluded his match in the first period.
