Box Score

Freshman Alyssa Rusinko (Fairport, NY/Fairport) came off the bench and scored 11 points for The College at Brockport Women's Basketball team but an early deficit led to a 74-45 loss to Geneseo Friday night in a State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) game at the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gym in Brockport.

A three-point basket by Olivia Suhr (Rochester, NY/Marion) gave Brockport (5-14 Overall, 3-9 SUNYAC) a one point lead at 3-2 but Geneseo (15-4, 11-1) went on a 14-2 run over the next seven minutes to extend the lead to 11 points at 16-5 with 11:26 left in the half. A late 7-0 run by the Knights allowed them to take a 37-20 lead into the halftime intermission.

Geneseo extended the lead again midway through the second half with an 11-2 run to take a 55-29 advantage.

Rusinko was perfect from the field hitting all four shots including three 3-pointers for her team-leading 11 points. Hannah Rehbaum (Cheektowaga, NY/Sacred Heart) and Suhr each score nine points while Suhr and Erin Cunningham (Marlboro, NY/Marlboro) each had seven rebounds for the Golden Eagles.
